Sir Muir Gray, former Chief Knowledge Officer for the NHS, has developed this well-being course to demonstrate how anyone over 60 should make active lifestyle changes to live longer and better.

You will join a classroom of no more than 20 people. Lessons are pre-recorded, so you can watch them at any time. There are optional assignments with each lesson (found in the notes). If completed, these can be shared with others in the classroom for discussion.

​Join the Live Longer Better Revolution.

Our mission is to enable people to live better for longer, to increase Healthy Life Expectancy and reduce the period of time at the end of life when people are very dependent on others.  It is based on a clear understanding of the science and a strong evidence base.

The Live Longer Better programme has three aims:

Increase Activity

Boost wellbeing, delay dementia and disability. Focus on regaining confidence, strength, stamina, suppleness, and conditioning the body for better function.

Extend Healthy Life

The second is to increase healthy life expectancy and compress the period of dependency.

Reduce Need For Care

The third is to reduce the need for health and social care because a person with greater strength, stamina, skill and suppleness has greater resilience and is less likely to need acute care.
